Auralift

Terms of use

Effective date: 4 October 2026

Agreement version: 2026-10-04.1

1. Provider and contact

Auralift is provided by Jamie Wardle trading as AuraForge Labs. Full provider details, including the geographic business address, are available on Auralift’s Google Play listing: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamiewardle.auralift

For support, purchase questions, refunds or complaints, email auraforgelabssupport+auralift@gmail.com. These terms explain the use of Auralift and its paid features. They operate alongside applicable Google Play terms and do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

Before using Auralift, you can read and save these terms and choose Agree and continue or Not now. Agree and continue records acceptance of these terms; it does not give consent for optional advertising, waive consumer rights, make a purchase or start audio processing. The terms and privacy policy remain available in Settings.

Auralift is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

2. What Auralift does

Auralift provides audio adjustments using capabilities available on supported Android devices. The current app requires Android 8.0 or later. Results depend on the device, audio route, manufacturer software, player and content. Some audio sources or devices may not support particular effects.

Displayed boost values are requested digital gain, not a measurement of sound pressure at your ears or a promise that hardware can produce that increase without distortion. Auralift is not a medical device or a treatment for hearing conditions. Try the free functions with your own device and audio apps before purchasing; doing so does not waive your rights if a paid feature is faulty or misdescribed.

3. Listening and controls

Start at a low system volume and increase adjustments gradually. Loud sound, particularly with repeated or prolonged exposure, can cause permanent hearing damage and tinnitus. Hearing damage may develop without obvious discomfort. Excessive output can also damage speakers or other audio equipment. Follow the listening and operating guidance for your device, headphones and speakers.

Reduce the volume and gain, or stop playback, if sound becomes uncomfortable or distorted. The absence of discomfort or distortion does not establish that listening is safe. Auralift does not measure sound pressure at your ears. Neither the displayed gain, the free-tier limit nor a warning acknowledgement guarantees a safe listening level. Take regular breaks and avoid prolonged listening at high levels.

Stopping boost removes Auralift’s extra gain and cancels boost-only comparison and timer state. If the equaliser is enabled, it can remain active with boost at 0 dB; turning the equaliser off is a separate control. Stopping boost does not stop music or another media app. The floating player can remain open when boost is stopped. Closing the floating player is also separate and does not, by itself, mean that every audio effect or media player has stopped.

4. Free features, Pro and Ad Pass

The free edition provides its advertised audio controls with a requested boost limit of +15 dB. Pro adds the advertised premium functions, including a higher requested limit of +35 dB, the floating player, additional themes and advanced profile functions. Hardware and compatibility limits still apply.

Where offered, Lifetime Pro and Supporter Pro are one-time purchases granting the same Pro features. Supporter Pro is an optional higher-priced purchase for users who want to provide extra support; it is not a charitable donation and has the same applicable consumer protections. Neither product is a subscription. Your applicable price and currency are shown by Google Play before payment.

A rewarded Ad Pass provides one hour of temporary Pro access after the advertising service confirms that the reward conditions were met. The hour is elapsed time, including time when the app is not being used. Passes do not stack, and a new pass can be requested after the previous one expires, subject to availability. Advert availability, duration and successful loading are not guaranteed.

When a pass expires, the app returns to the free boost limit without increasing a lower setting, closes the premium floating player and returns to the free theme. Saved profiles remain stored, although premium operations become unavailable until Pro access resumes. Expiry does not stop another app’s media playback. Activating Pro does not automatically raise your gain.

5. Purchases, restoration and the meaning of lifetime

“Lifetime Pro” means a one-time licence to the Pro features of this Auralift product, with no recurring charge. We do not impose a periodic renewal fee or revoke a valid paid licence simply to require the same purchase again. It does not include unrelated future products or guarantee support for every future device or operating-system version. Your rights relating to promised features, required updates and faulty digital content remain unaffected.

Purchases are associated with the Google Play account used to buy them. Restoration or verification may require that account, Google Play services and an internet connection. A temporary inability to verify a purchase does not itself cancel your underlying consumer rights; contact support if access cannot be restored.

If a purchase is refunded or revoked through Google Play, the associated paid entitlement may be removed when its updated status is received. Uninstalling the app does not itself request or obtain a refund.

6. Refunds, cancellation and faulty purchases

Google Play processes payments and provides a refund-request service. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase, circumstances, country and applicable law. You can use Google Play’s refund process (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637?hl=en-GB), or contact us at auraforgelabssupport+auralift@gmail.com so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a refund through Play Console.

When contacting us, explain the issue and provide your Google Play order reference if available. Do not send your password or full payment-card details. We do not require an unreasonable amount of information or make our support process a condition of exercising rights available directly through Google or under the law.

For UK consumers, the usual cancellation right for digital content can end when immediate supply begins only if you have expressly agreed, acknowledged the effect on that right, and the other required conditions have been met. Merely including this sentence in our terms does not obtain that consent. If the conditions have not been met, any applicable cancellation right remains. Other countries may provide different cancellation rights.

Paid digital content must meet applicable legal requirements, including its description and required quality and fitness. If it does not, you may be entitled to correction or replacement, a price reduction, a refund or another remedy as the relevant law provides. We will not use an “all sales final” rule, the word “Supporter”, or a compatibility statement to remove these rights.

We offer no additional unconditional change-of-mind guarantee through these terms. This does not restrict Google’s applicable refund policy, any specific guarantee offered at purchase, or your statutory rights. If we cannot resolve a complaint, ask us to review it; your other legal remedies remain available.

7. Permission to use the app

You receive permission to install and use Auralift through authorised distribution channels, subject to these terms and applicable licences. We and our licensors retain intellectual-property rights. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their applicable notices and licences.

Do not use Auralift unlawfully, interfere with purchase or advertising systems, or misrepresent it as your own product. Nothing here restricts activities that applicable law or an open-source licence permits despite a contractual restriction.

8. Updates, availability and other services

Updates may correct defects, address security or compatibility, or change features. We will meet applicable obligations to supply required updates and to preserve purchased rights. These terms do not give us an unrestricted right to remove paid functionality without any remedy.

Android, Google Play, advertising services and your media apps are separate services. Their availability and functionality can affect Auralift. We cannot promise uninterrupted operation across all third-party combinations, but remain responsible for obligations that the law places on us.

You can stop using Auralift and uninstall it at any time. Uninstalling does not remove exported files, request a refund or cancel any rights you hold in a completed purchase. If the product is discontinued, we will explain the effect on paid access and provide any remedies required by law. We will not use these terms to revoke a valid paid licence arbitrarily or withhold remedies for promised features we fail to supply.

9. Responsibility and legal rights

We are responsible for failing to meet obligations that apply to us under these terms and the law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your mandatory rights concerning digital content are not excluded.

Please follow reasonable listening guidance and use the controls carefully. Such guidance does not transfer responsibility for a defect to you or excuse our failure to meet legal obligations.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect lawful changes to the app, services or business. The effective date will be shown, and material changes will be explained and brought to your attention before they take effect, with renewed agreement where appropriate. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights or override mandatory consumer protections in your country. Where a change requires your agreement or a legal remedy, we will respect that requirement.

Document languages

These documents are available in English, Spanish and French. You can select the document language and save a copy. Translations are intended to describe the same terms and practices. Contact us if wording is unclear; language selection does not restrict your mandatory rights.
